WINTER 2009 CIO/CTO BREAKFAST ROUNDTABLE
March 1, 2009 - New York, NY - JB Homer Associates hosted its Winter 2009 CIO/CTO Breakfast Roundtable on Feb. 25, 2009. The Breakfast Roundtable was created to offer an intimate forum for top technology executives from the tri-state area to share with their peers the experiences and concerns about some of the leadership, technology, and personal challenges that executives responsible for setting the IT strategy vision for their companies face. The camaraderie and mutual respect generated at the Breakfast Roundtable is the foundation for the participants building relationships that extend beyond their respective industries or verticals.
The Breakfast Roundtables are structured to ensure that the attendees have ample opportunity to network with their peers, and to fully engage in the roundtable discussion - which is entirely based on topics requested by the participants for inclusion on the agenda.
The distinguished participants representing a spectrum of industries such as financial services, insurance, biotech, retail, entertainment and real estate, included: the CIOs of Brown Brothers Harriman, Fortress Investment Group, Cushman & Wakefield, Biogen Idec, NY Life, Hub International Group NE, Madison Square Garden, OppenheimerFunds, Duane Reade, and Societe Generale.
The roundtable discussion led by Judy Homer, President of JB Homer Associates, centered on topics such as: Managing in a Down Market, Reducing IT Costs Without Destroying the Operating Environment, Pros and Cons of Social Networking, and How to Create a Cultural Transformation in Your IT Organization.
JB Homer Associates, in its capacity as a retained executive search firm, has been building relationships with the most talented and innovative technology and operations executives within their respective industries on a global basis for over 25 years.
