Judy B. Homer, President, has over 25 years of experience in executive recruitment, and has built long lasting relationships with senior technology and HR leaders in companies that range in size from Fortune 50 to entrepreneurial startups based on our firm's proven track record for delivering a superior client experience and targeted slates of candidates. Judy founded JB Homer Associates in 1982 - which today is one of the few women-owned retained search firms focused on the global recruitment of information technology and operations executives across all industries. The firm's global reach now extends from New York to the Middle East and Asia after successfully completing assignments for major financial institutions such as JPMorgan Chase, NASDAQ, and the OppenheimerFunds, as well as for clients as diverse as Local 802, Lumber Liquidators, ArchBrook Laguna, and The American University of Beirut.
Before establishing JB Homer, Judy founded Paul Homer Associates, a firm specializing in technology, finance, marketing and human resource recruiting. Judy started her career in search at Fortune Personnel, where she was instrumental in building the Information Technology Recruiting Department there. Widely recognized as an expert in the field of executive search, Judy has spoken at conferences such as Women In Technology, Society of Information Management and CIO, and has been interviewed as a subject matter expert by Waters, searchCIO.com, Baseline, and BusinessWeek. She is a member of the Association of Executive Search Consultants, the International Association for Corporate & Professional Recruitment, the Society of Information Management and the Women's Bond Club of New York.
Judy graduated in the top 10% percent of her class from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Education Degree.
Fred Weber, Managing Director/Chief Operating Officer, leads the research and information technology divisions of the firm, and is responsible for contractual management of the relationships with our clients and vendors. Fred sets all policies and procedures and oversees all recruitment efforts to assure the firm adheres to the standards established by the Association of Executive Search Consultants.
Before joining JB Homer in 1991, Fred had 15 years with Alfa-Laval, Inc., a Swedish-held conglomerate, where he held positions of increased responsibility, culminating as Manager, Customer Service.
Fred graduated with a BS in Business from Marist College, Poughkeepsie, New York.
